Great food and service. We recommend the onion rings with ranch dipping sauce and the wedge salad.

We have driven past this place for over 30 years and always said "we should eat there sometime." Well, today was the day and this was the best dining experience we have had in years!!! Our server was fantastic, she answered questions and made suggestions and was just great to talk with. Helped that her family owned the place and she acted like this was her future. Had outdoor seating looking over the local trout stream, the view was amazing. And the food was fabulous. Salmon and pork chops for the main course. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection, red skins, Brussel sprouts, pasta Alfredo and a Caesar salad for the sides. By the way, best salad dressing ever!!! Deserts were apple and blueberry pie (warm) with ice cream and a butter crumb topping that was delightful!! This place was a 10 out of 10 and you can bet we will be back before 30 more years go by. Thank you for a great dining experience!

Lovely spot. Had to dodge a little Rt 30 traffic to slip into the lot, but it was worth it. Nice u-shaped bar, six beers on tap and a lot of liquor behind that. Friendly bartender/server. Good service, sandwich was tasty, properly priced. Nice view of the creek out the back window. Pretty much had the place to myself at that hour. Decorated for the season, almost to Hallmark-like levels. Definitely worth a stop.

Repeat customers- and had to leave a 2nd review. We called on New year's eve right before they opened. You had a cancelation and were able to accommodate use. ( we were traveling in area) My pictures describe our amazing dinner. Thank you for another great meal!!

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could, but for the sake of fairness, I'll go with the four... A very nicely decorated place located at a very picturesque location, we ate here on what started as a quite Special bday evening dinner that turned out to be quite a busy night by the time we left. The menu is varied across the board, not your normal fare, which is good in my book. For an appetizer we had their pretzel lobster roll. For the dinners, my wife had a seafood medley that included large scallops, whereas I had their half pound rack of ribs - all of it superbly delicious. The only complaint, light as it may be, was the service. It wasn't as attentive as I prefer, but after long enough waits, we did get taken care of. It was simply slow. Anyway, a nice little place with great food, I'm sure has better days ahead of it.

We eat her few times a year. It's always very good, but this time was amazing. We had called and made reservations so we asked for something on the back porch, by the window. This time of the year it is beautiful. We were seated immediately and shown the specials. We ordered the asian tuna tartar. Very good and cooked perfectly. Then, my husband got the bruschetta chicken. One of my favs. I took a bite, it was perfect. Probably the best I've ever tasted. Even better than mine! I had the seafood ariabiatta. Full of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. If I order ariabiatta sauce, I want it hot yet flavorful. Most places can make it HOT or flavorful but not most. This tasted so good. I never eat my whole meal. I ate it all. I could barely walk out of there. The owner checked on us a few times and was very friendly. The bill was as expected. We will definitely be back!
